May 20th in Seal Beach History

On this date in 1939, Andy’s Fish Pond ran the following ad in the Santa Ana Register.

Our guess is that Andy’s Fish Pond was in one of these two buildings.

    I think it was attached to Sam’s Sea Food Restaurant. I remember there was a fish market etc. there. Lynne Prnater Phipps

      Sam’s Seafood’s address was and still is 2501 Coast Highway, so Andy’s was a few blocks west and on the other side of the highway.
